Is 'Mimsy' a word? Surely that's absurd! Actually it's a portmanteau of 'Miserable' and 'Flimsy' as defined by the A-lady and, according to this skill, it means 'Rather feeble or prim and affected'. Thus it's a great word to include as one of the names of Sir Nicholas in the wonderful HP books. BTW I bought a bottle of sauce the other day. HP. I'm paying 8p a week for 15 weeks. If that doesn't make sense to you then Google 'HP Sauce' - it's a British institution.
